Another victory: in Quebec Superior Court – the RAPLIQ against the Commission on Human Rights and Youth Rights (CDPDJ)

It will be recalled that last January, the CDPDJ closed 15 complaints filed by the RAPLIQ in December 2011, under the pretext that the complainants had not experienced discrimination and simply did not agree with the services offered by the STM.

Outraged, the RAPLIQ went for judicial review of the decision of the Rights Commission. On June 19, before Judge Babak Barin of the Superior Court of Quebec and defended by Mei Chiu, the RAPLIQ won the first round which was to overturn the request of the CDPDJ to reject our motion for inadmissibility.
